One of my favorites was Caitlin’s senior portrait session. She goes to the same high school in Western Maryland that I graduated from in ’98. Our mascot is ”the campers” (insert your own jokes here). I managed to fit in some vacation-like activities along the way and hiked through Rocky Mountain National Park. At 10,000 feet altitude sickness definitely starts to kick in although the gorgeous views made it all worth it. I’ll be travelling to Estes Park next Summer for a wedding and look forward to spending more time in Colorado. This photo was taken near Bear Lake.

This place is a shared work space and a beacon of awesome hopeness. There were a ton of small businesses showcasing their skills/wares. I made a lot of new friends and yes, I ate way too many brownies. You would have too!

This guy once carved a full size Harley Davidson that you could sit on. He’ll out carve a village of Inuits on a bad day. Seriously, take your concept of dove wings with hearts and throw that out the window. He can literally make a sculpture of that scene with you throwing the cheesy scultpure out the window. See what I’m saying.  Oh yeah, and don’t forget, nearly any ice sculpture can doubly serve as a drink luge – clutch for these hot Austin Summers.
